Privacy Policy – FishLog

FishLog is a private, offline-first fishing log.

Data Storage
All bite data (location, date, weather, species, photos, and statistics) is stored locally on your device. FishLog does not operate a central server and does not automatically upload your data.

Location
The app uses your device’s GPS location to log bites, retrieve weather information, and calculate sun and moon events. Location data is not stored on external servers by FishLog.

Weather Services
Weather data is requested from third-party weather providers . No personal identification information is transmitted in these requests.

Photos
Photos attached to bites by the user are compressed and stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded by FishLog.

Subscriptions
Some features may require an active subscription purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Payments are processed by the respective app store. FishLog does not receive or store payment card details.

No Tracking
FishLog does not:
- Use third party analytics services
- Use advertising networks
- Track users across apps
- Sell personal data

Backup Responsibility
Because all data is stored locally, you are responsible for backing up your device. Deleting the app may permanently delete your data.
